Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, after being ill for the past several weeks. He was born Aug. 1, 1892, in Rockwood, a son of Jonathon William and Cordia (Weimer) Schrock. He was married Oct. 12, 1916 to Gertrude Inaz Henderson in Anaconda, Mont. She preceded him in death March 1, 1954. He is survived by the following children: Harold Andrew Schrock of Boring, Oregon; Sherman William Schrock, of Lewiston, Idaho; Mrs. Clair (Carol) Grove, of Hesston RD 1; one brother and two sisters: Freeman Schrock, of Sarasota, Fla.; Mrs. Minerva Henretty, of New Castle, Del.; and Mrs. Jenny Trimpey of Jenners. He was a self-employed accountant and coal miner. He also worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., in Akron and worked for the West Coast Life Insurance Co. while in Montana. Arrangements were in charge of the Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset and the Albert M. Masood Funeral Chapel, Saxton. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in Saxton with the Rev. Richard Sauerlender, of Trinity Parish, St. Matthews' Lutheran Church, in Markleysburg. Interment, United Church of Christ Cemetery, Markleysburg. The Republic, June 17, 1982 [S0597]
