(Speedy) Schrock, 65, North Edgewood Ave., Somerset, died April 16, in the Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 2, 1908 in Somerset, son of the late Charles and Cora (Schrock) Schrock. Preceded in death by his brother Clarence. Survived by widow, the former Mary Painter and a daughter Eleanor, Somerset. Also a brother Ernest, RD 2, Somerset. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, FOE, Somerset Lodge No. 358 F & AM, Harrisburg Consistory, Jaffa Shrine, and the Jaffa Legion of Honor. Graduate of the class of 1926 SHS. Veteran of World War II. Before retirement he owned and operated Schrock's Texaco Service Station. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. H. James Meyers and Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
