Schrock, 86, White Townships, Indiana County, died Jan. 8, 2000 at Beacon Manor Nursing Home. Born Oct. 20, 1913 in Rockwood, Somerset County. Son of Lawrence and Elizabeth (Long) Schrock. Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy North Schrock, a brother, Paul Schrock, Plant City, Fla., three nieces and three nephews. Mr. Schrock graduated from Pennsylvania State University in Agriculture and the University of Pittsburgh in Administration. He worked as a vocational agricultural supervisor for Indiana and Cambria counties. Mr. Schrock was involved in Future Farmers of America and G.I. Farming programs and taught in Armagh and Fredonia. He was a member of Church of the Brethren of Rockwood attended the First Baptist Church of Indiana for 50 years. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. William Shellhammer officiating. Interment, Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Four Footed Friends, Inc., 1670 Rustic Lodge Road, Indiana, Pa. 15701 or to the charity of one's choice.
