Schultz, 56, of 120 Duncan Circle, Brighton Township, Beaver, Pa., died Monday Feb. 22, 1982 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a short illness. He was born Aug. 20, 1925 in Berlin, son of the late Harry S. and Ruth (Musser) Schultz. He was a member and head usher of Beaver United Methodist Church, and was chairman of the Brighton Township Board of Supervisors. He was a supervisor of materials handling of Mobile Chemical Co., Rochester, Pa. In 1975 he was presented the man of the year award by the Beaver Area Chamber of Commerce; was currently serving as second vice president of the State Association of Township Supervisors and was a member of the Governor's Planning and Advisory Committee, Department of Environmental Resources for Pennsylvania hazardous waste facilities. He was an Army veteran of World War II and serviced in the Philippines. He was a member and past president of the Lower Beaver Valley Kiwanis Club. He had received an award in 1981 from the Beaver County Association of Township Officials for outstanding service to local government. He is survived by his wife, Jane E.; a son, James, and a daughter, Linda, both at home; two brothers, J. William of Berlin and Joseph Jr., of Ashland, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Jean Lehman, Berlin. Friends were received at the H.H. Wilson Funeral Home, 789 Second St., Beaver, Pa. Funeral services were held at Beaver United Methodist Church. Interment, Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
