  HELEN E. SCOTT
  
    Helen E. Scott, 78, of 21 Uhl Street, Cumberland, Md., died Monday,
  Aug. 24, 1987 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Md. 
    Born in Meyersdale, March 18, 1909, she was the daughter of the
  late Edward and Clara Dickey.  She was also preceded in death by her
  two husbands, James R. Hill and George Scott.
    She was a member of Farrady Post 24, American Legion Auxiliary,
  Women of the Moose Chapter 221 and PO Eagles Lodge 1273 Auxiliary.
    Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Gerley Mulcahy, Alexandria, Va.;
  and Miss Linda Hill, Flintstone, MD.; one sister, Mrs. Alma Donahue,
  Meyersdale; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
    The body will be cremated 
    A memorial service was conducted at the Sowers Funeral Home Friday
  at 11 a.m. by Pastor Donald F. Sause.  Interment, Union Cemetery,
  Meyersdale.
