  SCURFIELD
  
    William W. Scurfield, 29, of Stadium St., Berlin, died suddenly
  April 18, 1977.  Born Sept. 10, 1947 in Somerset, a son of William E.
  and Mary (Walker) Scurfield.  Survived by his wife, the former Karen
  S. Heiple; a son, Heath W.; his parents: and a brother, James E., all
  of Berlin. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and was
  a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy.  He was also
  secretary-treasurer of the Scurfield Coal Co.  Friends will be
  received in the Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, after 7 p.m.
  today (Tuesday) where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
  with the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson and the Rev. Ralph E. Mills
  officiating. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
