Sechler, 68, died Monday, March 29, 1999, in his home at 1506 Difford Drive, Niles, Ohio. Mr. Sechler was born May 8, 1930, in Somerset, Pa. a son of Fay and Margaret (Barron) Sechler. His wife, the former Anna Mae Shaffer, whom he married Aug. 9, 1952, died Sept. 27, 1989. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Bryan. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Stacey J. Masters of Copley, Ohio; two sons, Cory H. of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, and Todd of Warren, Ohio; four sisters: Mrs. Maxine Leventry of Stoystown, Pa.; Mrs. Kay Heist of Newport News, Va.; Mrs. Jane Stevens of West Jefferson, Ohio, and Mrs. Wilma Mostoller of Friedens, Pa.; three brothers: Edgar, Ronald and James, all of Somerset, and five grandchildren. He retired in 1995 from Liberty Steel Products in North Jackson, Ohio, where he was a mechanic. He was a member of Glenwood Primitive Methodist Church in Youngstown, Ohio, and Friendship Golf League, and was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving aboard the USS Wisconsin. Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 2, 1999, at Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge, Ohio. Daily American, April 13, 1999 [S0687]
