  CHARLES G. SECHLER
  
    Charles G. Sechler, 62, of Nanuet, N.Y. formerly of Somerset, died
  Sept. 25, 1973, at his residence.
    Mr. Sechler served 12 years as Somerset County Clerk of Courts,
  eight years as auditor and three terms as tax assessor.  For the past
  18 years he had been employed at Rockland (N.Y.) State Hospital.
    Born June 24, 1911, in Milford Township, he was a son of Charles
  and Cora (Schrock) Sechler.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Oleta Ling; and these children,
  Donald Sechler and Janet Berkey, both of Somerset; Richard, Congress,
  N.Y.; Shirley Ann Dwyer, San Jose, Calif.; and Lois Jane Vaugh,
  Monaca; also 19 grandchildren and two sisters, Miss Freda Sechler and
  Mrs. Althea Scott, both of Somerset.
    Funeral service was conducted Friday afternoon in Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev. Paul Tobias and Rev.
  James R. Ling officiating.  Interment in Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
