Born Sept. 23, 1917, in Henry Clay Township, a daughter of Oliver Gilbert and Mary (Flanigan) Butler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Richard R. Sechler; sisters, Della Butler, Alma Colley; and brother, Scott Butler. Survived by daughters, Colleen Younkin and husband, Blair, Markleton; Arlene Maroney and husband, Ken, Wilmington, N.C.; a son, Donald R. Sechler and wife, Patty, Somerset; six grandchildren, Theresa Pletcher and husband, Dale; Vanessa Lucas, and husband, Mark, all of Markleton; Patty Younkin, Somerset; Kenny Maroney and wife, Isabel, Brandon, Fla.; Kimberly Sutton and husband, Brian, Monroe, N.C.; and Ileha Ansell and husband, Bruce, Confluence; 10 great-grandchildren, Jessica and Andrew Pletcher, Mark and Ashley Lucas, Kathryn and Lauren Sutton, Aidan and Amelia Maroney, Tristan and Tyler Ansell; and sisters-in-law, Nora Sechler and Dorothy Butler. She was a member Of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church and Ursina American Legion Post 946 Ladies Auxiliary. She retired as a teacher's aide from Rockwood School District. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. James Monticue and the Rev. Art Vogel officiating.
