  SECHLER
  
    James Russell Sechler, 87, of Confluence died March 3, 1994, at
  Siemon Lakeview Manor, Somerset.  Born Feb. 1, 1907, in Fort Hill.  A
  son of the late Ira Austin and Ella (Burroughs) Sechler.  Survived by
  wife, the former Ruth E. Turney; two sons, Ted Ray, married to the
  former Janice Burnworth, of Etters, and Jay Russell, married to the
  former Alberta Humbertson, of Confluence, and a daughter, Marjorie,
  married to Edward Leonard of Confluence.  Also eight grandchildren
  and seven great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sister, Ruth
  Sanner.  Attended Confluence Church of the Nazarene for 44 years. 
  Retired from General Refractories after 34 years employment and was a
  lifelong farmer.  Friends will be received until 1 p.m., today, the
  time of service at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.  Rev. Thomas
  Charles officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
