  John William Sechler, 80, Cairnbrook RD 1, died Feb. 9, 1989, at
  home.  Born June 25, 1908, in Brothersvalley Township, son of John
  and Annie (Parker) Sechler.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the
  former Avis Custer; grandson, John; two brothers and two sisters. 
  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Louis (Caroline) Pluta, Stoystown RD 2; 6
  grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.  Retired owner of Bill Sechler
  Auto Wreckers, Kantner.  Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held
  at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ed Fritz.  Interment, Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
