Sechler, 60, 175 N. Ben Franklin Road, Indiana, died Wednesday, July 6, 1983, at the Indiana Hospital. He was the son of Charles E. and Alice (White) Sechler. He was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Markleton. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Indiana, UCT Council 598, and Fox and Coon Hunters Club, both of Indiana, and the Exxon Annuitants Club of Bedford. He was associated with Exxon for over 36 years before retiring. He had lived in Somerset for many years and was an Indiana resident since 1955. He is survived by his wife, Audrey (Petrea) Sechler; four daughters: Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Campbell, Homer City RD 2; Mrs. William (Linda) Glessner Jr., Penn Run RD 1; Mrs. David (Jane) Blazek, Berlin, Germany, and Sally Sechler, at home; five granddaughters; his mother, Mrs. Charles Sechler, Markleton RD; two brothers: Richard Sechler, Markleton RD, and Guy Sechler, Somerset RD, and a sister, Mrs. Park (Elva) Wilson, Markleton RD. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends were received at Robinson-Lytle's in Indiana and at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services were held with the Rev. Bruce H. Bishop and the Rev. Frank G. Garlathy officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. The Republic, July 14, 1983 [S0709]
