Sechler, 87, went to be with the Lord, May 30, 1998, at Somerset Hospital. Born June 21, 1910 in Summit Mills. Preceded in death by husband, Ray S. Sechler, who died in 1987 at the age of 84. She was the last survivor of 13 children of George W. and Missoui Bell (Tressler) Swearman. Margaret and Ray made their home in St. Paul. She is survived by four children: Mrs. Dwight (Minnie) Romesberg, Garrett RD 1; Mrs. Scott (Arlene) Wilhelm of Listonburg; Charles R. Sechler, of Pittsburgh; and Paul R. Sechler of Charles Town, W. Va. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was well-known for her excellent cooking and baking and also her talent for writing poetry. Viewing will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Albert Valentine officiating.
