Sechler, 84, Meyersdale RD 1, died July 28, 1987, at home. Born March 21, 1903, in Bittinger, Md., son of the late Charles J. and Cora E. (Bittinger) Sechler. Survived by his wife, the former Margaret A. Swearman; two daughters: Mrs. Dwight (Minnie) Romesberg, Garrett; and Mrs. Scott (Arlene) Wilhelm, Peninsula, Ohio; two sons: Charles R. Sechler, Pittsburgh; and Paul R. Sechler, Charlestown, W. Va.; also one brother, Glenn Sechler, Bradenton, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His death terminates a marriage union of 58 years. Member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury, and a former member of the Bittinger Lutheran Church. Retired oiler for the Kelly Springfield Tire Company and a member of the Woodsmen of the World Lodge, Bittinger. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. David E.
