WALTER R. SECHLER

  Walter R. Sechler, 63, of Paddytown, Confluence RD, died Monday, October 10, 
in the Price Hospital Confluence following a short illness.  He was a son of the 
late Josiah and Emma Meyers Sechler and was a well known farmer of the 
Turkeyfoot region.
  His wife, Mrs. Susan Younkin Sechler survives and a son and daughter, Carl 
Sechler and Mrs. Allton Heckman of Pittsburgh, also three grandchildren.
  Funeral service will be in the Methodist church in Ursina Thursday at 2 p.m. 
with the Rev. Dr. Alden Allen officiating.  Burial in Somerset County Memorial 
Park under direction of Samuel Black of Confluence.
  According to previous arrangements made by the deceased the Ursina quartet, 
Mrs. Ray Koontz, Mrs. Merle Prince, H. B. Prince and S. E. Suder will sing.
  Because of illness of Mrs. Sechler the body will lie in state in the Methodist 
church from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at which time the Odd Fellows will hold a 
service before the burial.
