  IDA JANE SECRIST
  
    Ida Jane (Bowser) Secrist, 94, Easton, died August 13 at Memorial
  Hospital, Easton.
    She was born in Grantsville, Md., and was a daughter of the late
  Perry and Amy (Bittinger) Bowser.
    She graduated from Normal School in Oakland, Md., and taught in
  five grade schools for nine years.  She was a member of the Easton
  Church of the Brethren, church secretary for a number of years, and
  adult Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Talbot County
  Homemakers Club.
    She is survived by four children: a son, Ford Secrist, Easton;
  three daughters, Leila Sanger and Nyda Cober, both of Easton; and Amy
  Seymour, Fairfax, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Cora (Bowser) Caporossi,
  Cumberland; and Mrs. Winnie (Bowser) Gibbs, Tuscarawas, Ohio; six
  grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one
  great-great-grandchild.
    Friends were received in the Newman Funeral Home, Easton.  Services
  were held in the Church of the Brethren, Easton, with Rev. Wendall
  Flory officiating.  Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery near
  Cordova.
