  Rose Secrist, Shanksville, died Jan. 19, 1987, at McConnellsburg. 
  Born in Somerset Township, daughter of the late Freeman and Clara S.
  (Shaffer) Gerhardt.  Also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Z.,
  and a sister, Mrs. Ruth G. Madden.  Sister of: George, Somerset RD 3;
  Philip A., Somerset RD 1; Clark, San Diego, Calif.; Eugene, Greeley,
  Colo.; Scott, Tampa, Fla.; and James, Grove City, Ohio.  Member of
  the United Methodist Church, Shanksville.  Retired school teacher of
  the Somerset Area School District.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where services will be
  held Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert R. Slack officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
