See, 88, of Purgitsville, W.Va., died Dec. 18, 1979 in Grant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg. Born Sept. 7, 1891, in Mineral County, she was a daughter of the late John B. Martin and Martha E. (Bowman) Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer R. See, in 1975. She was a member of the White Pine Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sons, Elson (Buck) See, Ellis See, both of Purgitsville, W.Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Shoemaker, Purgitsville, W.Va.; Mrs. Lessie McDonald, Junction; Mrs. Virginia Curran, Mrs. Esther Smith, both of Burlington; one brother, John G. Martin, Gore, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Wilman, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Ida Spencer, Fort Ashby; Mrs. Mary Parish, Keyser; 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the home of the late Mrs. See, where friends will be received. Serivices [sic] were held in the White Pine Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Fred Wilson officiating. Interment will be in High Cemetery, Purgitsville, W.Va. Pallbearers will be Orville R. Shoemaker, William O. Shoemaker, Roger See, Michael Curran, Terry Smith and James W.
