    Vernon L. See, 60, Hyndman RD 1, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1988, at
  Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Md.
    Born July 24, 1928, at Londonderry Township, Bedford County, he was
  the son of Edna (Burley) See McCray, who survives at Mount Savage,
  Md.; and the late Amos H. See.  He was preceded in death by his
  step-father, Howard W. McCray.
    He was a maintenance supervisor with the Kelly-Springfield Tire
  Company and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  He
  attended Calvary Bible Baptist Church.
    Surviving are his widow, Juanita G. (Chaney) See; three daughters:
  Verna-Lynn See, Mount Savage, Md.; Mrs. Belinda A. Keller,
  Cresaptown, Md.; and Mrs. Malinda A. Routhier, Frostburg, Md.; and
  six grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman where services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev.
  Ken L. Korns.  Interment, Porter Cemetery, Ellerslie, Md.
