ARTHUR E. SEESE

  Arthur E. Seese, of Husband, Somerset R.D. 2, died Sunday, Feb. 18, at 11:15 
p.m. in the Somerset Community Hospital, at the age of 37 years.  Born in 
Bedford County, May 1, 1907, he was a son of Emanuel and Ida (Custer) Seese.
  Surviving are his wife, Mabel (Thomas) Seese, and five children, Donald, 
Ronald, Duane, Dalton and Eileen, all at home.  His father, Emanuel Seese, of 
Somerset, and these brothers and sisters also survive: Harry and Oscar J., of 
Husband; Norman E., Somerset; Mrs. Robert Mitchell, Ogletown; Mrs. Joseph 
Oldham, Scalp Level; and Mrs. William Nash, Johnstown.
  Following a brief service at the Seese home in Husband, this (Thursday) 
afternoon, funeral services were held in the Somerset Church of God at 2:30 
o'clock by the pastor, Rev. David Lykens.  Interment was made in Union Cemetery, 
Meyersdale, under the direction of W. C. Price & Son, local morticians.
