  SEESE
  
  Averil E. Seese, 82, of Boswell RD 1, died Aug. 20, 1988, at Windber
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 4, 1905, in England, a daughter of William and
  Dorcas (Ramsel) Walker.  Preceded in death by parents; son, the Rev.
  Frederick; two sisters, Lillian and Beatrice; brothers, Joseph and
  Harold.  Survived by husband, the Rev. Herald V.; and these
  daughters, Barbara, wife of Dean Shetler, Sacramento, Calif.; and
  Marjorie, wife of Ted O'Dell, Elyria, Ohio; and daughter-in-law,
  Geraldine Seese, Jennerstown; 10 grandchildren; 17
  great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.  She was a
  sister of the Rev. Dorcas Brown, Laurel Crest Manor; and Nellie
  Reckner, Columbus, Ohio.  She was a member of Windber Church of the
  Brethren.  Death breaks a marriage union of 64 years.  She was a
  lifelong poet and artist.  Family receiving friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Monday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville.  Remains
  will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m.
  Tuesday at Windber Church of the Brethren, 19th and Graham Ave., the
  Rev. Keith W. Simmons.  Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
