Seese died Sunday, Jan. 2, at 8 p.m., at the home of his son, the Rev. Norman Seese, at Glade City, Meyersdale RD 2. He was born January 22, 1863, in Somerset County and was aged 85 years, 11 months and 10 days at his death. He was a retired woodsman. His wife, Ida Mae Custer Seese, preceded him in death. Surviving are three sons, Harry Seese, Somerset RD 2; Norman, Meyersdale RD 2, and Oscar, Meyersdale RD 2, and by three daughters, Mrs. Daisy Olden, Scalp Level, Mrs. Tony Mitchell, Windber, and Mrs. Pearl Nash, Hooversville. Also surviving are one brother, Fred Seese of Johnstown and two sisters, Susie Barnart of Scalp Level and Mrs. Catherine Meyers of Ogletown. He was a member of the Lutheran church of Ogletown, where services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 with the Rev. Herman D. Lyken officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery under direction of W. C. Price & Son. Before the body was taken to Ogletown, friends were received at the home of the Rev. Norman Seese.
