    L. Catherine Seese, 85, 8033 Clear Shade Drive, Windber, died April
  19, 1995, at the Memorial Hospital of Bedford County.  Born Sept. 4,
  1909, in New Paris.  Daughter of the late John H. and Mary Alice
  (Rowzer) Gephart.  Preceded in death by husband, Stanford W. Seese
  Sr., May 1, 1994; grandson, Matthew Miller; 2 brothers, David and
  William Gephart; sister, Nellie.  Survived by 5 daughters:  Elizabeth
  "Betty," wife of William R. Thomas, Johnstown; Dixie Lee, wife of
  James E. Miller, Schellsburg RD 1; Catherine "Kitty," wife of Thomas
  C. Miller, Schellsburg, RD 1; Judith Seese, Glencoe; Patricia, wife
  of J. Michael Feaster, Bedford RD 2; son, Stanford W. Seese, Jr.,
  Windber RD 1; brother Charles Warren Gephart, Portage; sister,
  Mildred Hiner, Canton, Ohio.  Also 12 grandchildren and 8
  great-grandchildren.  Married Oct. 1, 1932.  Retired secretary for
  Ogle Township School District.  Member of Ryot Church of the
  Nazarene, where she was financial secretary and Sunday School
  teacher.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at
  Mickle - Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.  There will be no
  viewing.  Service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ryot Church of the Nazarene,
  Rev. Joseph Schiren and Rev. Alan Smith officiating.  Interment,
  Ogletown Brethren Cemetery.
