JAMES SEGGIE

  James Seggie, 47, former Meyersdale R.D. resident, died at his home in Akron, 
Ohio last Sunday.
  He was born Aug. 12, 1899, near Meyersdale and spent most of his life in this 
section.  He was the son of Mrs. Mary Seggie and the late William Seggie.  His 
first wife is deceased.  Surviving, in addition to his second wife, Mrs. Mary 
Seggie, are two children by the first marriage - Jack and Doris Jean - and two 
children by the second marriage - Billy and May.  All the children are at home 
in Akron.  One sister, Agnes, also survives.  Another sister and brother 
preceded him in death.
  The body was shipped to the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where funeral 
services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, by Rev. Nelson C. Brown, pastor of 
the Amity Evangelical and Reformed Church.  Burial in Union Cemetery.
