   Robert Seibert, 89, Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin, went to be with the Lord, Sept.
  22, 2008. Born May 16, 1919, in Johnstown, the son of Daniel and Madge Seibert. For the
  past three years, he was a resident of Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin. He was
  preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James, Daniel, John and Wayne; and sister,
  Helen. Robert is survived by brother, Carl Seibert and wife, Marie, Erie; and the
  following nieces and nephews, Daniel Seibert and wife, Elizabeth, Stoystown; Anson
  Seibert and wife, Doris, Florida; Lois Shaw, Virginia; Marsha Bateman and husband, Bill,
  Wisconsin; Karen Jernigan and husband, Larry, Arizona; Donald Seibert and wife, Theresa,
  West Virginia; Sue Williams and husband, Richard, New Jersey; Joann Revie and husband,
  Richard, South Carolina; Thomas Seibert and wife, Patty, New Jersey; Richard Seibert and
  wife, Sally, New Jersey; and John Seibert and wife, Clair, New Jersey. Robert grew up as
  a farm boy in Somerset Township and was a World War II veteran. He was an accomplished
  musician and band director at schools in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
  Robert loved teaching music to his students and would often buy instruments for students
  that could not afford them. At Robert's request, their will be no viewing. A memorial
  service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset. The
  memorial service will be followed by a graveside ceremony. Arrangements by George E.
