Seiler, 63, died at his home, 10 Juniata Street, Lewistown, Pa., Wednesday afternoon, April 23, at 2 o'clock after an illness of 15 years. A heart attack caused death. He was born in Meyersdale July 18, 1883, a son of the late Louis and Lena Miller Seiler. Surviving are his wife, the former Julia Ann May, and the following sons and daughters: Homer Seiler of Salisbury, Somerset County; Boyd Seiler of Burnham, Mifflin Co., Pa.; M-Sgt. John Seiler, U.S. Marine Corps, Hawaii; Peter Seiler, at home; Clarence Seiler, Lewistown; Mrs. Earl (Blanche) Blough, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Maurice (Margaret) Caper, Salem, Va.; Mrs. Allen (Rosella) Foore of Orrstown, near Chambersburg, Pa.; Mrs. Ammon (Emma) Conley of Mifflinburg R.D.; Mrs. Stanley (Evelyn) Gordon, Mrs. Clyde (Wavidell) Dunmire, and Miss Beatrice Seiler, at home; Mrs. Charles (Julia) Butler, Lewistown; Mrs. Frank (Eleanor) Noble of Erie. Twenty-three grandchildren and one great-grandchild are living. Other survivors are a brother and sister: Adam B., of Dover, Del., and Mrs. John (Mary) Seigner of Meyersdale R.D. 1. Mr. Seiler moved with his family from Meyersdale to Lewistown in 1929 and became an employee in the soda room of the American Viscose Corporation where he worked until he became ill. Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:30 o'clock. Rev. E. S. Opdenhoff, pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle, officiating. Burial was made in the William Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown.
