Born Dec. 11, 1921, in Johnstown, son of Joseph and Dorothy Seman. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary (Harcher) Seman and Helen Seman, brother, Edward Seman. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, the former Olga "Ollie" Britz; son, Frank W., married to the former Sharon Reilly, Berlin, N.J.; and daughter, Sharon, wife of Jon C. Clapper, Meyersdale; grandchildren, Kelly (Seman) wife of Brad Seeley, Anchorage, Alaska; John F., Berlin, N.J.; Jessica Clapper, Indiana, Pa.; and Jon "Gabe" Clapper, Asheville, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Dylan James Seeley, Anchorage. He is also survived by his brother Stephen, Johnstown. Frank was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, where he served as head usher at the 5 p.m. Mass. A World War II Army Veteran, he was a retired supervisor of Bethlehem Steel Corp. with 40 years of service. He is a 1939 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Geistown-Richland Lions Club. Frank was an avid Notre Dame Fan. He also enjoyed golf and was a member of Windber Country Club. For years, he golfed with the "Duffers" Golf League and served as their treasurer. Photography was also a favorite past time. He always had his camera with him and he would take countless pictures of every-one. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Committal to follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be directed to the East Hills Ambulance Association, 3111 Elton Road, Johnstown, PA 15904, in Frank's memory.
