Sembower, 73, of Somerset, formerly of Rockwood, died Jan. 6, 1985, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Dec. 21, 1911, in Markleton, a son of the late W.F. and Grace Greenwood (Boyer) Sembower. He is survived by four brothers: Maynard of Rockwood; Ray, Robert and Harry, all of Somerset; and by one sister, Mrs. Sara Mullaney, Cumberland, Md. Preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Rockwood, a retired employee of the Chessie System, and a member of the Pine Turn Hunting Club. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday where services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Robert H. Halverson supervising. Daily American, January 8, 1985 [S0796]
