Serrian, 91, 2900 Jackson Ave., Windber, died July 7, 2006 at Windber Medical Center. Born Oct. 12, 1914 in Windber, son of the late Phillip and Catherine (Scalise) Sirianni. Also preceded in death by wife former D. Jeanette Stroud, and brothers Michael Serrian, Albert Sirianni, and Frank Serrian. Survived by these children: Martha Jean, wife of David Lewis, Emporium, Richard Sirianni, married to the former Joyce Wozniak, Augusta, W. Va., Denise, wife of Greg Solensky, Schellsburg, Janice, wife of Bill Tallyen, Emporium, and James, married to Cathy Sarver, Windber. Also 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Angeline Guinta, Cleveland, Theresa Sweda, Mich, and Arthur, married to the former Gloria Grimes, Longs, S.C., and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church, Windber, and army veteran of World War II. Former long-time employee of former Damico's Cleaners, Windber and Westmont First Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Meek & DallaValle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Windber. The Rev. Cynthia Cadenhead, officiating. Interment Richland Cemetery with military graveside rite by Windber VFW Ritual Team.
