  SEVITS
  
  J. Webster Sevits, 71 years, of Tayman Avenue, Somerset, passed away
  in his residence Sunday.  He was born Aug. 7, 1900 in Brothers Valley
  Township, a son of the late John L. and Ida Brant Sevits.  Preceded in
  death by one son, one daughter, and three brothers in infancy. 
  Survived by his widow, Katie B. Platt, two daughters, Mereda wife of
  John Bowman, of Monroeville, Phyllis, wife of Clarence Russell,
  Deerfield Beach, Fla., four grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs.
  Myrtle B. Hoffman, Berlin, Mrs. Nora Brant, Somerset, Mrs. Mildred
  Musser, Berlin.  Member of Brotherton Church of Brethren.

  Friends will be received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset,
  after 7 p.m. Monday until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, when his remains will be
  removed to the Brotherton Church of the Brethren to lie in state until
  2 p.m. when services will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth R. Blough,
  with interment in Brotherton Cemetery.
