USMC Retired, 72, died Jan. 2, 2004, at Siemons Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Feb. 27, 1931, in West Newton the son of Maurice Chauncey and Olive Mary (Martin) Seybold. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Donald and Robert Seybold. Survived by wife the former Dorothy Jane Will to whom he was married 50 years. Children Thomas A. Seybold, married to the former Deborah Judy of Friedens; Mrs. Hugh Barrett (Teresa) Devlin of Wilson, N.C.; Mrs. Ronny (Nettie) Emeigh of Berlin; Donald E. Seybold, married to the former MaryBeth Wilcox of Somerset; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brother of Mrs. Grace Johnson of Fayetteville, N.C.; Mrs. Lois "Boots" Martin of N. Huntingdon; Mrs. Patricia Duncan of Nicktown; Mrs. Nancy "Cookie" Robertson of Brighton, Mich.; Wayne Seybold, U.S. Army Retired of Jefferson City, Mo.; Larry Seybold of Monroeville. Attended Somerset Christian Fellowship Church; USMC veteran of the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, retiring in 1970 with the rank of Master Sgt. with 22 years active duty; owner/operator of the former North Side Heat Co. retiring in 1985. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. William J. Dodson officiating. Interment Wills Cemetery, Military Rites accorded by Somerset County Honor Guard. After his long battle with illness; he is winging his way to Heaven, to help guard the streets with his fellow departed Marines. 01/03/2004
