SEYMOUR George Wolcott Seymour, 75, died Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the home of his father-in-law, James R. Brown, after being ill for a year from a stroke - a second one hastening his death. He was the son of John D. and Abbie Seymour of Newington, Conn., where he was born, August 16, 1867. Mr. Seymour worked for the B. & O. R. R. at Glennwood until he was retired four years ago when he and Mrs. Seymour moved to Confluence to make their home. On April 13 Mr. and Mrs. Seymour celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary very quietly, due to his illness, at their home. Surviving are his wife, Rose Brown Seymour, and a brother, William, of Chicago. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at the C. B. Humbert Funeral Home with Rev. S. L. Burson in charge. Interment was made in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, June 3, 1943
