  SHAFER
  
  Mabel L. Shafer, 78, of Westminster, Md., died Aug. 11, 1986, at
  Westminster Nursing and Convalescent Center.  Born in Berlin,
  daughter of the late Harry and Maggie (Glessner) Sarver.  She was the
  wife of Lewis Shafer.  She was a member of the Brick United Methodist
  Church.  Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two brothers,
  Raymond, and Theodore Sarver, both of Berlin; and a sister, Melda
  Stevens, Essex, Md.; also a number of nieces and nephews and great
  nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10
  a.m. at the Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster,
  with the Rev. Jane Billingslea and F. Orlando Kibbe.  Friends may
  call at the funeral home Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Interment,
  Berlin Cemetery, Berlin.
