  SHAFER
  
  Nanna Rebecca Shafer, 86, East Patriot Street, Somerset, died April 3
  at her residence.  Born in Keyser, W.Va., July 19, 1887, the daughter
  of Wesley and Ella (Moreland) Brown.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, Harvey D.; one daughter Ruby E.; one sister; one brother,
  five half-sisters and two half-brothers.  Survived by two daughters,
  Marian and Maude and one son Mack W., all at home; a sister, Mrs.
  Vina McVicker of Rockwood; a half-sister, Mrs. Martha Metz of
  Cairnbrook and a half-brother, Ervin Hull of Winchester, Va.  She was
  a member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren and the Adult Bible
  Class.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be held Saturday at 2
  p.m. with the Rev. Paul R. White officiating.  Interment Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
