ANNA E. SHAFFER

  Mrs. Anna E. Shaffer, 76, died at her home four miles north of Somerset at 12 
o'clock Tuesday night.
  She is survived by her husband, Edward Shaffer, and the following brothers and 
sisters: Mrs. C. F. Darr and Mrs. M. S. Shaffer of Somerset; Mrs. J. F. Basin of 
Odell, Nebraska; Mrs. R. D. Hostetler of New Centerville, and Mrs. A. H. Crowder 
of Altoona.  Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon, 
conducted by Rev. John C. Powell, assisted by Rev. Newton D. Cosner of 
Sipesville.  Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery.  Charles R. Hauger, of 
Somerset, is the undertaker in charge.
