  CATHERINE NORA SHAFFER
  
    Catherine Nora Shaffer, 87, of Garrett RD 1 (Blackfield) died
  Monday, April 21, 1980 at the Maple Mountain Manor, in Berlin.
    Born June 29, 1892, she was a daughter of the late John and
  Elizabeth (Christner) Gray.  She was also preceded in death by her
  husband George W. Shaffer.
    She is survived by three daughters and one son: Clyde, of Garrett
  RD 1; Mellie Jones, of Garrett RD 1; Gurtrude Smith, of Pasadena,
  Md.; and Margaret Kelly, of Occla [sic], Fla.; and two grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home where
  services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd
  Sechriest officiating.  Interment in Fritz Cemetery.
