  Darwin Taylor Shaffer, 91, Johnstown, died March 3, 2005. Born April 12, 1913,
  in Johnstown, son of Levi Adam and Mary (Saylor) Shaffer. Preceded in death by
  parents; sisters, Cora Kauffman, Lillian Fornwalt, Dema Maschue and Vista
  Meyers; and brothers, Kenneth, Herbert, Levi Jr. and Wilford. Survived by wife
  of 69 years, Pansy V. (Emeigh); children: Robert, married to the former Connie
  Critchfield, Pittsburgh; James, married to the former Mary Alice Baker,
  Dillsburg; Gene, married to the former Leslie Bantley, Windber; David, married
  to the former Kathy Edwards, Belair, Md.; Raymond, married to the former Ilse
  Livingston, Birmingham, Ala.; and Terry, married to the former Kathie Landis,
  Shanksville; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by
  brother-in-law, Charles Walters. He was the last surviving member of immediate
  family. Life member of Roxbury St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Retired
  mechanic from Sani-Dairy, after 35 years of service. Owner of Shaffer's Radio &
  TV. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at John Henderson Co.
  Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, where a service will be held at 2
  p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Wayne D. Sedei. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu
  of flowers contributions may be made to Roxbury St. Paul's United Methodist
  Church, 160 Derby St., Johnstown, PA 15905
