  Emily Elizabeth Shaffer, 85, of Stoystown, formerly of Hooversville
  died Aug. 10, 2003, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born
  Sept. 24, 1917, in Belltowne daughter of George and Ida (Baker)
  Bittner.  Preceded in death by parents; husbands, Daniel E. Wagner
  and Glenn D. Shaffer; a son, Allen Lee Shaffer, three brothers and a
  sister.  Survived by a son Dale E. Wagner of Butler; sister-in-law
  Gladys Bittner of Somerset and several nieces and nephews.  Member of
  Hooversville Church of the Brethren.  Family will receive friends from
  noon until service at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown.  Rev. Harry W. Bassett officiating.  Interment P.O.S. of
  A. Cemetery, Hooversville.
