  SHAFFER
  
  Mrs. Emma P. Shaffer, 72, Boswell RD 1, died Nov. 27, 1976 in
  Berlin.  Born Oct. 25, 1904 in Jenner Township, daughter of William
  and Zeruah Halin Speicher.  Preceded in death by her husband, Clayton
  E., who died Aug. 22, 1974; three brothers; John, James and Robert;
  and a sister, Mrs. Erma Hay.  Survived by a niece, Mrs. Sandra
  McLarney and her children: Debi, Robin and Rick, and a sister, Mrs.
  Mildred Haddow, Lancaster; also a number of nieces and nephews. 
  Member of Thomas Mennonite Church.  Friends were received Sunday
  evening and will be received from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at
  Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell.  Body
  will be removed to Thomas Mennonite Church for viewing from 10 a.m.
  until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Donald Speigle
  officiating.  Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery.
