FRANK PERCY SHAFFER

  Funeral services for Frank Percy Shaffer, of Wellersburg, Pa., husband of Mary 
J. (Knepp) Shaffer, who died Monday evening, Nov. 2, in the Memorial Hospital, 
Cumberland, Md., following a lingering illness, were held last Thursday 
afternoon at the home of Rev. E. P. Skyles, of Cumberland, pastor of St. Mark's 
Reformed Church, assisted by Rev. W. B. DeChant.  Interment was made in the 
Wellersburg Cemetery.
  Mr. Shaffer was the son of the late Eli and Eleanora Knepper Shaffer.  He had 
resided in the Wellersburg section all his life, his ancestors having been among 
the early settlers.
  Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Harry 
Cassen, Wellersburg; Mrs. Fred Jenneurine, Morgantown, W.Va., and C. Victor 
Shaffer, at home.  He also leaves two grandchildren, John Percy and Mary Jane 
Cassen.  A son, Paul DeSales, preceded him to the grave four years ago.
