  SHAFFER
  
  Glenn H. Shaffer, 84, Washington, D.C., formerly of Somerset, passed
  away Dec. 19, 2002, at the VA Hospital in Washington, D.C.  Preceded
  in death by parents, Dorsie and Maude Shaffer, Somerset; son, Donnie,
  Pittsburgh; and sister, Thelma Larson, McKees Rocks.  Survived by son,
  Lester, and his wife, Susan, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Pat
  Shaffer Wagner, Pittsburgh; two sisters:  Mrs. Ruth Sarver and Mrs.
  Ferne Swank, both of Somerset; one brother, Wayne, and his wife,
  Lorraine, Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren
  and many nieces and nephews.  Graduated from Somerset High School, was
  retired from the military and Naval Computers, Washington, D.C. 
  Cremation was held in Washington.  Memorial service will be scheduled
  at a later date.
