  GOULDA SHAFFER
  
    Goulda Shaffer, 77, Friedens RD 1, died Oct. 24, 1978, at the
  residence of daughter.  Born June 19, 1901, in Somerset County, she
  was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Gnagey) Bockes.
    She was preceded in death by first husband, Ervin Klink, and second
  husband, Jacob Shaffer; also three brothers and three sisters. 
  Survived by her daughter, Lovetta, wife of Willard Lensbouer,
  Friedens RD 1; and these step-children:  Lloyd Shaffer, Somerset RD
  5; Jacob Shaffer, Friedens RD 1; Fred Shaffer, Somerset RD 2; Mrs.
  Rudy Berti, Rockwood RD 3; and Mrs. Guy Brougher, Somerset RD 1; one
  grandchild; four great-grandchildren; 20 step-grandchildren; six
  step-great-grandchildren.  Also a brother and sisters:  Dan Bockes,
  Garrett; Mrs. Dale Walker and Mrs. Susan Wagner, both of Berlin; and
  Mrs. Mae Leslie, Tennessee.
    She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset. 
  Friends were received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  services were conducted Friday at 1 p.m., the Rev. Ted Cole
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
