    Harvey S. Shaffer II, 49, Markleton, passed on Oct. 30, 2007, at home. Born Jan. 13,
  1958, in Chicago, he is the son of Ray and Ruth (Partington) Shaffer, Markleton. He is
  survived by his parents; daughter, Christie Ann Shaffer, Morgantown, W.Va.; son, Jacob
  Ray Shaffer and wife, Lori, Morgantown; grandchildren, Alexander, Jacob Jr., and Rebekah
  Shaffer; and sisters, Estelle Burnworth, Rockwood; Deborah Shaffer, Connellsville; and
  Donna Spangler, Rockwood. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a participant in
  the annual Appalachian Wagon Train. He was a former electrician at West Virginia
  University and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 2
  p.m., the time of service Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood. The Rev. Jay
  Christner officiating. Interment at Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
