HATTIE SHAFFER

  Mrs. Hattie Shaffer suffered a heart attack and died at 9 o'clock this 
(Thursday) morning at her home in the Shipley apartments, Meyersdale, where she 
has been living since moving here from Hyndman about four years ago.
  She is the mother of Mrs. Robert Goodwin, Meyersdale, and Mrs. Guy Cook, Sr., 
Garrett.
  Funeral arrangements are in charge of W. C. Price and Son.  A complete 
obituary will be published next week.
