Born March 9, 1914, in Paint Township, a daughter of Alonzo and Ida (Berkey) Weaver. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clair; brothers, Emory, Herschel, Elgin and Leland; and sisters, Zelda Morgart and Hope Carroll; infant granddaughter and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law. Survived by children, Wayne, married to the former Betty Ann Weible; Linda, wife of Don Evanchock; and Janet, wife of John Toth, all of Windber; Allan, married to the former Julie Summer, Somerset; and Kathy, wife of Michael Kubas, Wilbur; grandchildren, Dawn and Marcy Evanchock; Eric and Trisha Shaffer; Brandon Shaffer, married to the former Lyanne Mickle; Beth and Lisa Toth; step-granddaughters, Kathy (Toth) Schrader and Karin (Toth) Hrivnak. Also survived by great-grandsons, Ean and Briar Shaffer, several step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Lifelong member of Berkey Church of the Brethren, Windber. She was a loving wife and mother who loved and enjoyed spending time with and taking care of family and friends, working on the farm and gardening. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. Visitation also 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Berkey Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Earl Crissman, pastor, officiating. Interment Berkey Cemetery.
