  HUNTER W. SHAFFER
  
    Hunter W. Shaffer, 71, of Hyndman RD 1, died April 4, 1981, at
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    He was born Dec. 26, 1909, in Boyer, W.Va., the son of Nathan and
  Leora (Slayton) Shaffer.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Erma Biggs.  He is
  survived by two brothers and two sisters: Walter of Meyersdale RD 4;
  Lee of Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Sylvia Miller of Meyersdale RD 3; and
  Mrs. Clara Boden of Hyndman RD 1.  He was a member of the Apostolic
  Church in Jesus, and the Meyersdale VFW.
