  JACOB F. SHAFFER
  
    Jacob F. Shaffer, 73, of Somerset RD 6, died Aug. 3, 1973, in his
  residence.  Born Feb. 8, 1900, in Quemahoning Township, he was a son
  of the late George and Catherine (Hetrick) Shaffer.  He was preceded
  in death by his first wife, the former Eva C. Pyle, and also by three
  brothers and a sister.
    Surviving are his second wife, the former Goulda (Bockes) Klink,
  and these children: Mrs. Guy (Elsie) Brougher, Rockwood RD 2; Mrs.
  Rudolph (Catherine) Berti of Rockwood RD 3; Lloyd F. and Jacob E.
  Shaffer, both of Somerset RD 5; and Fred K. Shaffer, Somerset RD 2; a
  stepdaughter, Mrs. Lovetta Leichty, and 20 grandchildren.
    He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville, and
  Milford Grange 1774.
    Funeral service was held Monday morning in Richard E. Hauger
  Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev. Gene Abel officiating.  Interment
  in Samuels Lutheran Cemetery.
