    James David Shaffer, 68, Hyndman RD 1, died Oct. 20, 1981 in
  Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    A native of Hyndman, he was a son of the late William T. and Stella
  (Bradigan) Shaffer.
    He had been employed as a laborer.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Leroy Logsdon officiating. 
  Interment will be in Hyndman Cemetery.
