  Leila Margaret (Gary) Smith Shaffer
  
  My Lord and Savior has called me, Leila Margaret (Gary) Smith
  Shaffer, home on Jan. 23, 2004. Daughter of the late Dan and Thelma
  (King) Gary.  She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband,
  Carl Smith and brothers Wayne and Vincent Gary.  She is survived by
  her husband, George E. Shaffer of Somerset; sons Daniel E. Smith and
  friend Ruth Lucca, Stewart W. Shaffer, married to the former Gail
  Stone and Steven W. Shaffer and friend Cindy Livengood; 10
  grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She is the sister of Ada
  Friedline, Kay Ackerman, Nancy Gindlesperger and Oscar, Ross,
  Leonard, George and Don Gary.  She was a retired employee of Patriot
  Manor in Somerset.  She was a member of the Farm Women's Society and
  was a Cub Scout Den Mother for 10 years.  She attended Old Bethel
  Church in Markleton.  Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9
  Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home,
  Somerset.  A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Old Bethel
  Church, The Rev. Dr. Douglas Baker officiating.  Interment at Old
  Bethel Church Cemetery with a reception to follow.
