  LEODA G. SHAFFER
  
    Leoda G. "Babe" Shaffer, 83, of Hyndman RD 1, died Wednesday, Aug.
  2, 1989 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born March 24, 1906, at Eckhart, Md., she was the daughter of the
  late Joseph and Cassie Belle (Deneen) Divelbiss.
    She attended Fairhope Community Church and was a member of the
  Hyndman Senior Citizens.  She was the last surviving member of her
  immediate family.
    Survivors include her husband, Christie O. Shaffer; two sons, Paul
  C. Kifer and Carl D. Shaffer, both of Hyndman; three grandchildren;
  and five great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Gary W. Caber. 
  Interment, Hyndman Cemetery.
